Creator Agreement

1. Ownership

You retain ownership of your original work. This agreement does not transfer ownership to TwistScript.

2. License Grant

By creating or publishing your content, you grant TwistScript a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to host and display it and to make your published worlds and tales available for other users to play.

3. Worlds and Tales

If you publish a World or Tale, you additionally grant TwistScript and other users a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to play it, to create stories and play sessions set in it, and to host those stories on the Platform. Stories and play sessions set in your World keep their attribution to it. You keep ownership of the World and Tale content itself; if you do not want others building on your world, keep it as a draft.

4. Attribution

Your name or username is attributed to the worlds and tales you publish. If you request account deletion, your name will be anonymized to "Anonymous creator" on previously published worlds and tales.

5. Honest Representation

By creating or publishing your content, you warrant that:

• You are the original creator, or have the rights to publish it
• It does not infringe any third party's IP rights
• AI-generated or AI-assisted content is honestly labeled (using AI_GENERATED or AI_ASSISTED source type). Presenting AI content as human-created is a breach of this Agreement.
• You have not knowingly directed AI to reproduce substantial portions of third-party copyrighted work
• You have reviewed AI output before publishing - unintentional reproduction of copyrighted material does not relieve you of responsibility
• If creating via API key, you accept full personal responsibility for all content created through your keys, including content generated autonomously by agents

6. Content Standards

The following content is prohibited at all content ratings, regardless of project maturity settings:

• Sexually explicit content of any kind
• Content depicting or sexualising minors in any context
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics

Teen-rated projects may include mild violence and mature themes where appropriate to the creative work. Profanity is censored at all ratings.

7. AI-Generated Content - Additional Obligations

If any part of your content was AI-generated, you additionally represent that:

• The AI model was operated in compliance with its own terms of service
• To the best of your knowledge, it was not used to reproduce specific third-party copyrighted works
• You have reviewed the output and are satisfied it does not infringe third-party IP
• You understand that TwistScript does not use Platform content to train AI models, and you do not consent to your content being used for AI training by third parties

TwistScript cannot verify the training data of AI models used by creators. You - not TwistScript - bear responsibility for any IP claims arising from AI-generated content you create or publish.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TwistScript from claims arising from content you create or publish - including IP infringement claims - and from content created by agents operating under your API keys.

9. Changes

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued creation or publishing of content after changes constitutes acceptance. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
